One of the things I enjoy most about music is the diversity of art, so I find that I jump around in my passions for musical genres. I like everything from baroque to minimalist modern classical, smooth jazz to trance techno, bluegrass to 80s rock.

I play violin, or fiddle, depending on what mood I'm in. If you ask me what the difference betwen a violin and a fiddle is, my answer is definitely, "the way you play it." Though the electric violin definitely allows for all sorts of things beyond what you'd usually define a violin or fiddle...

I've enjoyed the experience of playing in a lot of quality orchestras, and I also find myself staying up late just playing by myself sometimes for enjoyment and discovering something new. Here are some recent recordings - the 2008 clips are multi-track recordings on the MRS-8:
