Washington, DC, 2002

Our most recent tour was to Washington, DC, where we played at the Old Post Office Pavilion and Market Square.

We line up in arc formation at an amphitheatre in the Arlington Cemetary.

The strollers get really close and somewhat wet to one of the waterfalls at the FDR Memorial.

The first venue we played at was the Old Post Office Pavilion during the lunch hour.

Eric and I step out to stroll through the tables where many workers in downtown DC stop daily to eat lunch.

Ashish introduces the next piece as we play at Market Square in Old Alexandria.

We strolled for a few elementary school classes that walked down during lunch to hear us play, as well as any others who may have been passing by.

We managed to get more than half of the show in before the rain came.
We're acting goofy in the hotel lobby and decided to "make it fit".

Branson, MO, 2001

The Strolling Strings toured Branson, MO in July 2001, where we did 6 shows at the Opera House in Silver Dollar City and one show at the dock of the Branson Belle. The following pictures are from that trip.

Call time was 8:30 Saturday morning. Doh!

After 3 shows at the Opera House, we also performed at the dock of the Branson Belle for the people getting off and on the boat. I handed my camera to one of the chaperones for the performances, and he took lots of great pictures.

I snapped one of some of us with the captain of the Branson Belle.

It's Sunday, here we go again. Wwwwwake up!

We're the "Visiting Group" playing at the Opera House

The stage at the Opera House was pretty nice, with a digital keyboard housed in a baby grand casing, so it looks nice and elegant.

It's show time!

Kansas City, MO, 2001

The following pictures are from the national convention that we went to at the Hyatt Crown Center in Kansas City in January of 2001.

In the Press

We were featured on the St. Louis Lawyer Magazine in October of 2000. We play for their banquet every year.

Benefit Fund Raiser, 2000

In August, 2000, we rehearse for the fund raiser.

We played 2 shows that night, and it was very successful.

Disney World, FL, 1999

From the 14th to the 18th of June, 1999, I went with the group to Disney World to play in Epcott Centre during the Magic Music Days.

Europe Tour, 1998

Our group joined with another Strolling Strings group in Wisconsin to form the Midwest Strolling Strings, and we went on a 10 day tour of England and France in July of 1998.

1995-96

This is the group with Missouri Governor Mel Carnahan and his wife after we played at the State Dinner in 1996, which was signed by Mel Carnahan himself.

This picture is from when I first joined Strolling in 1995.
