We did our first Strolling Strings performance of the new season. We have a lot of new people this year (like 1 1st violin, 3 2nd violins, a couple of violas, a cello...) So it was lots of fun. Of course, we got cut off halfway through the show because they ran out of time, so I guess in a way that is a good introductory stroll, then again, it's kinda dissapointing not to get to play for more fun pieces.

Woah! Quantum and Maxtor hard drive companies are merging! That's quite big news.

Dude, there's this thing called the iSub @ school, designed only to work with the iMac. It's USB interface and all that. Well, it's a typical computer subwoofer, I guess, not all that great, thought it is Harmon-Kardon. Owell, it's much needed to complement those little speakers.
Woah! They just introduced the Visorphone! This thing even supports GSM! Neato! I think I'm going to hold off on buying my cell phone until this comes out!

Woah! MiniDV is so awesome! The VCR we have in the VTC rewound the entire 60-minute tape in 10 seconds. Wow! That's some fast winding! And also, the tape has an encoding on that that tells you what part of the tape you're in! So you stick the tape in the camera, or the VCR, and up comes the counter, showing you 14 minutes, 22 seconds, or whereever the tape happens to be. Awesome! I don't think I can settle for anything less anymore!

For video club today, we started filming the first scene of the movie that we are producing. It was pretty cool, we are using the Canon DV camera, and the quality is just amazing. And we have the equipment to edit with it and stuff in the Video Tech Center at school. We've got some really good actors too, so this is going to turn out just awesome!

Hmmm, they're releasing this new 2001 Impreza all over the world, but no sign of it here yet. I dunno what to think of it, it just looks so different. I mean, as long as it handles better and stuff... though I don't see much improvement to the interior. Owell, the Impreza is only good cheap (as the Outback Sport or Turbo), I'm not a fan of spending $40000 on a souped up Japanese box, I'd rather get an Audi for that price.

Woah! I was out at a restaurant tonight for dinner, and I saw a Ferrari F355 Spyder! It was yellow, and had the F1 paddle transmission! Woah! The top was down, so I peered in... there wasn't a stick for the transmission! Not even an automatic-style! I saw the person come and drive it away... apparantly, it has a clutch! Cause the car slipped around when no throttle was engaged. Woah! F1 is da bomb! It was funny, there was like a crowd of people standing around it admiring it.
