I've gotten a first look at Midtown Madness 1, and it's pretty cool. It's kinda a dissapointment that you're limited to downtown Chicago, but that's not too bad, cause there's tons of little scenearios and games to play. The car physics is not too bad, though I've seen better. Handling, especially, is a little on the weird side. I wonder if a Microsoft Sidewinder Wheel would fix that. And car selection kinda sucks too, they're kinda obsessed with Ford Mustangs. Owell, what's impressive is traffic! It actually has some! And you can set traffic levels to near grid-lock. Wow! And pedestrians too! Now that's fun. And the Interstate is really fun too, cause there's a cloverleaf interchange, and a few diamonds. And the streets are very realistic to Chicago. So basically, I'm impressed with the driving environment. Midtown Madness 2 must fix a lot of the problems with the first version. Well, it still only has two cities, San Fransisco and England, but now there are 20 cars, including the Audi TT.
