I went up to Columbia, MO today for an audition. Wow, there was so much fog this morning. And the weather differences were amazing between St. Louis and Columbia. There is a stalled cold front in between, and it's about 30 degrees colder in Columbia than here, here it's in the upper 60s, lower 70s. In December. That's Missouri weather for you. Well, because of that front, it was pouring down rain in Columbia, while only drizzling in St. Louis. Oh man I got so wet having to walk across the Mizzou campus. Owell, I don't mind getting wet at all, I think it's kinda fun, but my violin case isn't really totally waterproof. Owell, it was a pretty fun day.

Oh my goodness! Coming back from a strolling strings performance tonight, I was headed home going East on MO340, Olive Blvd. After the Warson Road traffic light, I saw in the darkness the outline of a really nice sports car. I take a look, and I recognize it immediately as a Lamborghini Diablo. Oh my goodness! It was so flat! But wide and long! It looked like some space ship! The spoiler was sitting so high up and big, it looked like wings! It was headed on opposite direction, so I took a U-turn and followed it all the way down past Ross Road on MO340. At first, it looked black, but as I got to the lights near the I270 intersection, I could see it was a dark blue. It was a Roadster VT too! AWD! I just cruised beside it down MO340 the entire time. Good thing he wasn't flooring it, though he was still going at a moderate speed, it's hard to go slow in that thing. Oh, the dashboard lights were awesome. Looked like a space ship. Inside was seated a couple, the guy driving, and this girl. Obviously going on some date. The girl had lowered the sun visor to use the mirror to put some lipstick on. I think he realized that I was staring and following him, and when we got to heavier traffic near Ross Ave., he decided to do some lane maneuvering to lose me. Well, he got about 3 cars ahead of me at a stop light on the right lane, so I moved to the right-most turning lane and got one last good look at the machine. Oh man!
