I got to test out those radios, and we had 4-way communications, using Peyton's set of Motorolas. I am totally amazed at the low power consumption. I had some rechargables about 1/4 charged, and they lasted all day, from 0500 to 2000. 15 hours. THat means, they last @ least 60 hours, and I was using it very heavily, tramitting a lot. 4 AAA go a long way sometimes. The Motorolas didn't hold up as well, full charge went down to 1/3 charge after 12 hours. They use 3 AAs. Owell. That doesn't mean they have more juice, I found mine sent and received slightly better. And it's more compact. Owell, I'm happy with my new purchase.
Our bus driver had a lead foot. Owell, all the more exciting. He floored it on I70 the entire way there and back. IT's kinda funny, cause the top speed of the bus is around 70-75 mph, and he did that, pedal to the metal and cruised @ top speed. Course, then we came upon a steep uphill, and the bus could only go 55mph. Downhill? 80-85. All the 18-wheelers were going very fast, though, I was kinda surprised. They were passing us, going about 80-85 mph constantly, and some even faster. Wow. Owell, it's a safe highway. By the time the trip ended, though, the engine on the bus was making some weird noises. Owell.
Tonight, our school orchestra had a fund raiser for our trip to San Antionio, and we played in chamber music ensembles for a nice formal evening. It went pretty well.

Woah! I saw a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 convertible! Convertible! I pull up closer to it, and I see "Spyder" printed on it. Woah! The front hood had a nice huge bulge for the turbo. Woah! They don't make these anymore. I wonder if at one time they did. Yes, in 1995-1996. I've never seen before! Woah, it cost $65000 then.

Woah! I got a new Diamond SupraMax for $23, Mom wanted a modem for her computer. Woah! On the phone line that got 19200bps with my Zoom, it got 24000! On the line that I'm currently using, which I get 21600, it got 26400! I need to try it on the line that gets 26400 with the Zoom, it probably gets 30000something! Not bad for a $23 modem, time to get one for myself. Another amazing thing is the size of the thing! It's smaller than my palm! It has like one chip, a speaker, and the jacks for the telephone. Wow. Technology has advanced.
