After being told by many people that you can't make CD-RW Audio discs, I gave it a shot anyways. I was totally shocked to find that my Panasonic portable CD-player plays them with almost perfection. Woah. So, I tried the car CD-player in the Subaru. I mean, it has 3-laser tracking, so it has got to work. Nope! It tries for a while, then spits the disc back out. Maybe I just have a really nice portable player. Owell, this is great, CD-RW audio is awesome.
Wow, had another strolling show tonight @ the Hilton hotel @ about 1645, set up sound, played a couple hours, tore down... I was out @ around 2130.

Argh, I finally figured it out. You can't have more than one copy of the aspi drivers on your hard drive, or windows goes crazy. Silly windows. I keep multiple copies of my system directory on hard drives just in case.

Finally caught up on most of my homework now. Time to do some things, like update the KUTO calendar and the LHWHS calendar. Stupid Adaptec CD-Creator, I'm having tons of problems with the ASPI, it's crashing like crazy, I've ruined almost 10 CDs now.
Yikes! Sudden notice, Mrs. P called today and said that the Strolling Quartet is playing for the reception Saturday night. We don't even have a quartet assembled yet. Tessa's playing viola, and Eric is our new 2nd violin, I'm playing 1st now. Ok, gotta rehearse, let's see, only time we can do it is Friday after school, cause everyone is busy Saturday, we've got SATs in the morning.

Mr. Sonius, our AP US Government and Politics teacher, gave us a review session tonight. He's such a hilarious guy, and a totally awesome teacher. Wow, a former student even formed a list of his famous quotes. Wow, these are great, someone should have continued to record his quotes.
Well, went to pick up my glasses today. The rolled and polished edges are impressive, the lenses look really thin now. The drawback is that there is an immense amount of internal reflections from any light. Owell, they are kinda fun to play with sometimes, moving my head around to watching light flash around. They also have a myodisc effect, because of the heavy bevel.

Wait a minute, my birthday is in May. I'm getting old. 17. That's old. Like, 16 is the best age, 15 seems young, but 17 is just old. 18, 19, 20, all that is even worse.
I'm starting work on this really interesting piece, Perpetual Motion, by Ottokar Novacek. Very very interesting.

Wow, it's already.. MAY. I haven't gotten the hang of it being April yet. May should fly faster than April though.
