Had a relatively easy job this morning, setting up a DSL modem on an iMac at a residence, so that was exciting. Then I went to Youth Symphony rehearsal, and then to Dan's surprise birthday party at Villa Park. Kevin took me for a spin in his Del Sol VTEC. It's no Boxster, but it's a convertible, it's VTEC, and it's a Honda (aftermarket performance, yummy). Then I picked up Andrea and Amie and we went to SLU High to see the Midwest Ballet Co.'s performance of Cinderella. Beth and Alison were both in it, and it was really really good! It's the first time I've gotten to properly appreciate ballet, cause I knew the storyline. I loved it so much! Afterwards, Eric, Hannah, and Beth joined us and we piled into my wagon (2 sat in the imaginary seats in the trunk) and we went to get Chinese for dinner, and then to hang out at Andrea's house. So I had a nice eventful Saturday, and that makes me happy.

I got sick of being cheap and using the same wipers that I have had on my car since 1987, so I bought new wipers for them today. A whole $10 investment, ooh.
Woah, it was all about Allroads this afternoon. I was taking Tim home from school. So I pulled out of the south lot, and this silver Allroad drove by. I'm like, woah. Then I drive 300 feet and turn onto Clayton, and another silver Allroad drives by. I'm like, dang, 2 silver All-road sightings in 30 seconds. Then, after I took Tim home and came back out outo Clayton, I see a third All-road driving by, but a black one! It's the first black one I've seen on the road yet. There were a couple at Parktown Audi Wednesday, and that was really exciting, but now I've gotten to see one on the road. Nice.
Tonight I went to an awards dinner at the St. Louis Engineer's Club for the regional 2nd place Science Olympiad award we got a while ago. It was kinda fun, actually, I ran into the younger sibling of a person that I rode up to ARML with two years ago that I talked all weekend with. It was a coincidence, yet he was also the one that got 1st place in Physics Lab 2 years ago, so it's no surprise. So that was fun.
Oh, and I saw another black Allroad on Skinker on the way back.

Well, Chris got his new computer finally, so now I have to return the GeForce2 GTS back to him. But owell, I wasn't using it much anyways, time to go back to my TNT2 Video. Except, when I put in my TNT2, the macine freaked out and decided not to post a BIOS @ all. I put the GeForce2 back in, and she still didn't post... I finally figured out to reset the CMOS via the jumper, and then it posted fine with the TNT2. Weird...

Doh, I dropped my Handspring at the gas station, and it put a crack in the case by the Memo button. Owell, better than a total disaster, I guess, just part of the normal everyday wear and tear.
Andrea and I have been building up our run distance lately. Last week we ran 4 km, today we did 4.5. It feels totally nice, I love it.

Well, for the past couple of weeks the catalytic converter on my car has been making this weird noise at low rpms, like between 1000 and 2000. It sounds like a bucket of marbles or something. I think it's dying, it looks all rusted and stuff. The replacement for my car happens to be quite cheap though, $90 at Auto Zone is what I checked. But I might just hollow it out and run it without the cat converter. Owell, we'll see.

I forget how cool a place Gateway Electronics is! It's so awesome, I was looking for a male HD 15-pin to female DB-15 adapter, but they didn't have it, but it was cool roaming around. Hey, at least they have the parts to make that adapter! I think I'll go back one day when I have to time to solder it together. In the back, I found this stack of old VESA and ISA boards and what not, totally neat! I can stay there for a long time.
After that, I picked up Beth and we went to one of Amie's lacrosse games. It's going to be my only time going to a sporting event in my entire high school experience. So that was ok, it was such a nice day!

The Angels cut my hair today! It was so exciting. We had a total haircut extravaganza. Susan washed hair, and Beth and Andrea cut it. First they did Katy's, then mine, and then Beth and I cut Andrea's. Natalie wanted a trim too, so they worked on that a little, but then she freaked out and so we just left it at that. Finally, we got some spectator action on Beth's hair due to a bet that Eric had made with her. So that puts a total output of 5 haircuts today.
